แป้นน้ำย้อย ด้านหลังเรือนผุพังมาก ต้องเปลี่ยนไม้ทั้งแผ่น ความยาวประมาณ 6 - 7 เมตร ซึ่งอันเก่าโดนน้ำฝนมาเป็นระยะเวลาที่นาน อีกอย่างหนึ่งด้านบนของแป้นน้ำย้อยชิ้นนี้ไม่มีไม้ประกบ คาดว่าไม้ประกบด้านบนน่าจะผุและโดนลมพัดออกไปทำให้น้ำฝนซึมลงไปที่แป้นน้ำย้อยทำให้ผุพัง จึงต้องทำการเปลี่ยนใหม่

For the traditional Lanna exterior roof trim (paen namyoy), the trim on the back of the house is in total disrepair, so we have to change the whole stretch. This piece was about 6 - 7 meters long. The old one has suffered damage from the rain for a long time. At the top of the trim, no joist is found. We’re guessing this piece has decayed or blown off by the wind over time, allowing the rain to seep into the trim, ruining that as well. So in the end, we have to replace the whole thing.
