Bed room is one big room running the full length of the house, facing to the East.Partitions within the room for Children are created by using a large piece of cloth hanging between the posts.
The heads of occupants always pointing East when they are sleeping. At their feet lie baskets for putting clothes and personal items.
Mai-Pan-Tong or the one-piece sturdy central floor plank which sits on a floor stud, is the path to walk in and out of the room without making too much creaking noise. An altar is placed on top of the principal pillar or " Soa-Eak"
